The Barcode functionality is built into the POS plugin.

The first step is connecting a Barcode reader. After the Barcode reader is connected to your computer. On the search bar, we have an option for Barcodes. Select the Barcode drop down option, click the cursor in the search field. Use the Barcode scanner to scan the Barcode. The Barcode numbers will be entered into the search field.

For the POS, we create a unique Barcode field for each Product in WooCommerce. Make sure the Barcode number is entered for the Product under the product details page inventory section. On the POS, switch to the Barcode search functionality, the Barcode search will use the Barcode field on the product details page to display matching product results in the POS.

The POS Barcode support has been successfully tested with Mac, Windows and Chromebook devices and browsers Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. We also released an Android app, the app provides the Barcode functionality using the Camera of the device, you can download the app for free on the Google Play store
